IDPS

DB Marcus Maye NYJ, LB Myles Jack JAX, DL Trey Flowers DET, DL/LB Aldon Smith DAL

DB Marcus Maye is the real deal. The Jets are going to play a high volume of defensive plays, several plays will make it to the second level and Maye will be asked to do more with Adams no longer on team.

LB Myles Jack is all over the field and is key reason why they were able to win week 1. 8 Tackles, 3 assisted tackles 1 sack, 3 QB hits and with Joe Schobert beside him there could be more opportunities for him to make tackles on the inside.

DL Trey Flowers was one of my top 10 DL picks for the season. His first week was no exception. 5 tackles, 1 sack, 28 sack yards, 1 forced fumble. He is the real deal and I expect him to have several tackles against the Packers who will remain committed to the run game.

DL/LB Aldon Smith proved that for some people, playing high caliber Football is like riding a bike. A 5 year absence and he was easily the most active/disruptive defensive player for the cowboys. With Vander Esch and Lee out, more pressure and run control will be asked out of their edge Linbebacker.

Also J. Abrams LV, E. Moseley SF, C. Wilkins MIA, & CJ Henderson JAX

D/ST

PLAY

SF @ NYJ, BAL @ HOU, NO @ LV

3 road teams not my usual strategy for good defensive play but this is not a usual year. SF Should dominate an awful team. Baltimore looks to be good and I expect it to keep rolling this week. New Orleans is a solid defense and they get a chance to open up and win in a new stadium.

PINE

WASH @ ARI, ATL @ DAL

As I have stated multiple times this pre-season. Washington is going to have a great D/ST, this week is not a favorable match up as Kyler is arguably the most elusive QB in the business. Throw on top maybe the best 3 WR trio in the league, and an up tempo offense.

Atlanta at Dallas could be the highest scoring game of the week. Defense could be an after thought, but there is potential for several sacks if both teams are airing it out. I am staying away from both of these teams this week.
